Quad 303 is a 50W Class AB power amplifier sporting a custom 200VA toroidal transformer, Quad’s iconic 303 triples output stage, 10 ampere into difficult loads, and bridge mode selection for dual mono setups – all encased in Quad’s iconic anodised chassis with CNC-routed heat sinks.

A brand new 200VA, custom specified low-noise toroidal transformer, designed specifically for Quad 303, is the ultimate strongman. Compact and cool-running, 303s class AB power supply is entirely free from discrepancies caused by overheating and asymmetrical signals, delivering rich sonic detail with vice-like grip.
PERFORMANCE FINESS BEFORE UNRULY POWER
50w @ 8Ω (70w @ 4Ω) might sound conservative. But 303s honest power output, with a maximum current delivery of 10A into difficult loads, is ideally suited to the demanding requirements of modern, audiophile loudspeakers, driving even Quad’s electrostatic designs with ease.
THE FOREMAN OF HIGH FIDELITY
Output signals are cleverly monitored against input signals, through intelligent feedback topology, to check and correct discrepancies (distortion). In addition, 303s topology automatically adjusts transistor current flow regardless of temperature, so that you get exceptional audio clarity, even over long listening periods at high temperatures.

Native ‘Bridge Mode’ functionality allows dual 303s to be configured as a dual mono system, almost tripling its original 50W power output to 140W (@ 8Ω).
