Rega Planar 3 Eco

At Rega, we’re constantly looking for ways to minimize waste and reduce the number of parts that end up in landfill. For many years, we’ve employed a dedicated team focused on reworking and recycling damaged components. However, some parts—though fully functional—develop cosmetic imperfections that make them unsuitable for use in our standard ‘A’ grade products. Rather than sending these items to landfill, we’ve created a better solution.

Just as consumers have embraced “wonky” fruit and vegetables to help cut unnecessary waste, we’re taking a similar approach with Rega Green Grade. This initiative gives new life to components with minor cosmetic flaws by using them to build fully functional, high-performance Rega products. Every Green Grade item meets the same exacting performance standards as our ‘A’ grade models and is covered by our Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects (cosmetic issues excluded).

This is a non-profit initiative designed purely to reduce waste and make use of valuable materials that would otherwise be discarded. It’s part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability and responsible manufacturing.

• ECO plinths will not feature the silk-screened P3 logo, ensuring easy identification

• Each turntable includes a Rega ECO lid badge and Green Grade carton label

• Every ECO deck undergoes the same rigorous performance testing as our standard Planar 3 models

• Performance remains identical to ‘A’ grade models

• Includes our Limited Lifetime Warranty against functional defects (cosmetic issues not covered)
