Referenced from Tim de Paravicini’s admiration of Jaguar’s powerplant, the EAR V12 extracts much of the same philosophy. The design utilises six EL84s on each bank for a total of twelve, delivering high performance with balance and grace.
The geometry allows an organised, compact layout with central weight distribution, creating powerful lines and compelling proportions without dominating any environment.
Exquisite Detailing
The V12 utilises EAR Yoshino’s tradition of craftsmanship, blending high-calibre engineering with refined design. Hand-selected polished wooden end caps add a distinctive and unique character to each unit.
Chrome transformer covers suggest aerodynamic strength, with sufficient power in reserve for demanding audio systems.

Tim de Paravicini’s vision extended beyond a collection of EL84s to create an amplifier of exceptional power and clarity. His balanced bridge mode circuit enables increased bandwidth and superior control.
The Pentode Mode parallel push-pull Class-A circuit delivers superb linearity with smooth harmonic character.

Bespoke hand-wound transformers from Cambridgeshire provide ultra-wide bandwidth and extended frequency response. Each bank of six EL84s produces fifty watts of pure high-quality audio.
